In an effort to coordinate signs for businesses and government, the Egg Harbor Village board gave final approval Monday, March 12, to a village logo.

The design is the work of Egg Harbor artist Kathy Mand Beck, who submitted two designs to the Village Board in February. Both designs feature an egg-shaped sun silhouetting stylized sailboats.

The blue-on-cream design selected by the board will be used on the sides of village owned vehicles, on village property and village stationery.

Beck was also asked to develop a uniform business sign for use by the Egg Harbor Business Association. The final designs for the flags were also approved.

Beck's designs can be used in different color combinations for flags and banners throughout the community.
